This 4 hours course provides individuals the knowledge and skills to provide immediate, temporary care to injured or sick animals until a professional veterinarian can provide medical care. Topics include breathing emergencies, including choking; cardiac arrest and CPR; life threatening bleeding; sudden illness, including poisoning, seizures, and heat emergencies; and various injuries, including how to approach and move an injured animal.
