Nurse Assistant Training Instructor

Duties: Provide instruction
to qualified candidates for the American Red Cross Certified Nurse Assistant
Training Program. Prepare students in didactic and clinical qualifications
for certification testing. Provide student training in other associated
health and safety course.
Qualifications: Must be a
Registered Nurse with a current license in the State of California and have at
least two years experience working as a staff nurse with direct patient care in
a long term care facility. At least one year teaching experience
required. Work schedule flexibility and bilingual skills preffered.
American Red Cross Nurse Assistant Instructor course will be provided for
new hires.

Responsible for overseeing skills testing for nurse assistant candidates and
responsible for evaluating candidate competency in accordance with Department of
Health Services regulations and all established American Red Cross procedures.
Qualifications: Current RN license in California; one year experience in providing
care for the elderly or the chronically ill.
